ITS manages email services for staff and students. The email system includes calendar and contacts functionality, and it can be accessed both on and off campus.

We provide storage, backup and hosting services that enable students, departments and schools to store and share data on hardware that is managed by the University.

ITS offers a wide range of consulting, advice, and support services.

Network

We provide connectivity between computers for staff, students and visitors to the University, enabling them to share resources and information securely.

Printing

ITS delivers a range of printing solutions and we also provide self-service printing options for students and staff. Advice about purchasing printing equipment is also available.

Security

We provide information security services that protect University data and information from potential threats.

Software & Hardware

ITS supplies, supports and distributes software for use on University ICT equipment. We can also procure hardware for University departments and can assist with the recycling and disposal of old equipment.

Teaching & Research

ITS manages the University's teaching rooms and theatres, and provides ICT based elearning solutions that support teaching and research activities.

Telephones

We supply and support a range of desktop phone, mobile phone and voicemail services to University staff and students.

Usernames & Passwords

We manage University of Otago usernames and passwords to provide access to many online services.

Web

ITS provides Internet access and web-based solutions that enable staff and students to share and manage information and collaborate online.
