The NZETC comprises significant New Zealand and Pacific Island texts and materials held by Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington Library. The collection encompasses both digitised heritage material and born-digital resources, with an emphasis for the latter on works created by the University. The New Zealand Electronic Text Collection (NZETC) was developed by Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington Library in 2002 and hosted by them until 2024. In 2024, the the collection was transferred to the National Library of New Zealand, who have made it available as a web archive.
