- Have a good night’s sleep and grab a bite to eat before the photoshoot to help keep your energy levels up.
- Arrive a little early if you can. It’ll give you a few moments to relax and have a chat with the photographer before the photoshoot begins.
- We understand you may feel a little self-conscious about having your photo taken. Just let us know if you’re feeling a bit nervous before we begin. We’ll do our best to put you at ease before we begin taking photos.
- Clothing should reflect your personal style. However, you’ll look your best if you:
- Avoid busy/complicated patterns, logos, large words, or anything that may reasonably be considered offensive
- Opt for clothing that is neat, tidy and appropriate for the setting you’ll be photographed in.
- Wear solid colours. Light colours are ok but you’ll want to avoid the plain white shirt if you can.
- Wearing make-up or not is completely up to you. The photographer always carries a bit of powder and may use it to help minimise glare during the photoshoot to help ensure you’ll look your best.
- Wear your hair as you normally would for the setting you’ll be photographed in. We’ll have a mirror on hand if you want to do a last-minute check before we begin taking photos.
- Depending on what you’re being photographed for, you may be asked to bring an alternate top to change in to. The photographer will advise ahead of time.
- Be prepared to meet any health and safety standards required for the space you’ll be photographed in (i.e. hair tied back, lab coat, safety goggles, close-toed shoes, etc.). Talk to the photographer ahead of time about these standards if necessary.
