Research summary
Polymer chemistry, drug delivery and animal health formulations.

Research

My primary research interests are the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery platforms. I am particularly interested in developing targeted and disease-specific formulations to deliver bioactive molecules.

In my post-doctoral training, I worked as a formulation scientist for Elanco Animal Health (previously Bayer) and developed intramammary formulations for dairy cows.

I have extensive experience in small organic molecule synthesis, block co-polymer synthesis, engineering formulations for biopharmaceuticals, project management and pre-clinical studies.

As team leader (current role) of the Animal Health Formulations and Product Innovations group at the School of Pharmacy, I apply my synthesis, formulation, and drug delivery expertise to develop sustained-release veterinary formulations.
