Have you received or provided any treatment for neck pain in the past year?

We are looking at the experiences, perspectives and expectations of:
- patients with neck pain
- healthcare providers who are experienced in providing neck care and
- policy makers who design services for neck pain patients
Our aim is to understand the current management and delivery of neck pain care in New Zealand.
Who can participate in this study?
You may be eligible to participate if:
- You are an individual aged 18 years or older and have received care from any healthcare provider within the past 1 year. You must be able to provide legal consent and be capable of speaking, reading, and understanding English.
- You are an individual who is experienced in providing care to people with neck pain and is currently practising in New Zealand.
- You are a policymaker involved in designing, funding, and providing services for people with neck pain.
What will you be asked to do?
If you are eligible to participate:
- Complete a brief online questionnaire
- Participate in a one-on-one online interview with a researcher.
- You are welcome to have a support person along.
- You will be invited to review and comment on the written interview.
If you are a patient participant you will receive a NZD $30 voucher for participating in the study as a token of thanks for your time.
If you are a healthcare provider or a policymaker your name will be entered into a prize draw for a NZD $200 voucher as a token of thanks for your time.
