Do you work with people affected by Parkinson's disease?

Parkinsons honours 21 imageThis study explores physiotherapists perceptions of barriers, beliefs and attitudes towards applying evidence-based gait facilitation strategies for individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD).

The study will provide insight into the difficulties of the application of to-date literature in current practice of gait facilitation for individuals with PD.

Seeking participants

We are looking to recruit NZ registered physiotherapists with at least 1-year of experience in working with people with Parkinson’s disease. To find more about the project see the information sheet. 

What is involved in the research?

  • You will be requested to attend one of the three focus groups either in-person or on Zoom.
  • The focus group interviews which will take approximately 60-90 minutes of your time
  • Each focus group will have a maximum of 6 participants and is aimed at generating a healthy discussion around the topic.
