- Paper Structure
The paper comprises of three main areas:
- Clinical Preparation
- Clinical Placements
- Case Studies
Clinical preparation includes lectures and labs on ethics, health and safety, manual handling, and reflective practice. Clinical placements are a range of supervised practice in a variety of settings. Case studies involve teamwork, debate and discussion of cases involving key professional issues including interprofessional practice, ethics, culture and clinical reasoning. Teaching includes an optional sports medic training module.

This paper is taught on-campus, with students undertaking clinical placements at a range of sites within Dunedin.
