Overview
Blair Andrew Martyn (1987–2008) drowned at Lake Hawea on 30 December 2008.
His university friends donated this liquidambar tree and it was agreed that outside the Chemistry Building was a place close to his heart.
Blair had just completed a double degree in chemistry and bio-chemistry and was intending to return for a postgraduate year.
