Review Panel Members have responsibility for:

  • Where appropriate, conducting themselves throughout the Review as independently representing their profession rather than their University or Employer
  • Familiarising themselves with the Self-Review documentation, and Review Guidelines in preparation for the Review Visit
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of any personal or commercially sensitive review material
  • Requesting additional information (via the Convenor) if necessary
  • Providing input into the Visit Programme as appropriate
  • Participating fully in Review Panel discussions and occasions
  • Providing feedback on drafts of the Review Report, and assisting with its writing as required
  • Endorsing the final Review Report before its submission to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)
  • Returning all review material (including all self review documentation, copies of submissions, review notes and drafts of Review Report) to the Review Secretary, upon completion of a Review, for confidential disposal.

In order to familiarise themselves with the University, it is recommended that Review Panel Members review key University policy documents, which are available for download here.
