ESADE Law School, Global Governance, Politics and Economics is a new exchange partner University in 2024 and is currently accepting applications for semester 2 2024 and semester 1 2025.

The University

ESADE (Escola Superior d'Administració i Direcció d'Empreses) is an international private educational institution based in Barcelona, Spain. The school has also formed a strategic alliance with Ramon Llull University in its undergraduate programmes in Law and Business. ESADE is ranked among the world's top business schools and law school programs by the Financial Times, The Economist, Forbes, QS World University Rankings and more.

ESADE Law School is Spain’s top private university for studying law and one of the most innovative law schools in the world. The campus is found in the residential neighbourhood of Pedralbes, in the upper part of Barcelona, one of the most attractive residential areas.

Exchange information

  • ESADE Law School offers exchange programmes in Law, as well as Politics or Economics. Law courses are offered both at Bachelor’s and Master’s Law Degrees level. Politics or Economics courses are from the Bachelor in Global Governance, Economics and Legal Order
  • Academic year: September–May (fall term: September–December (Politics or Economics) / January (Law); spring term: February–May)
  • Minimum course load: 23 ECTS credits per term; maximum course load: 30 ECTS per term (Law) / 33 ECTS per term (Politics or Economics)
  • Law classes in the fall term are taught in English, with some courses being offered in Spanish, whilst those offered in the spring term are taught in Spanish, with a few courses taught in English
  • Politics or Economics courses are taught in English for both fall and spring terms
  • ESADE offers free courses for all Exchange Students who want to learn or improve their Spanish.
