You will learn through case-based teaching, practical workshops, supervised placements, and work with real clients in the Connection Through Movement Studio – the School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise student-led exercise clinic. Alongside experienced clinicians and researchers, you will apply current evidence to implement assessment, clinical reasoning, and exercise prescription.
Your degree will include at least 500 hours of professional practice, with flexible workplace learning opportunities available through approved placements. You will gain experience across a range of clinical conditions (e.g. cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neurological, psychological). Learning is supported by state-of-the-art physiological monitoring systems, exercise testing laboratories, rehabilitation spaces, and environmental control facilities.
