Teaching Fellow
Gillian Townsley teaches Biblical Greek.
She gained her PhD in Biblical Studies in 2011 at Otago University and subsequently published The Straight Mind in Corinth: Queer Readings Across 1 Cor 11.2-16 (SBL, 2017).
She also has an MTheol (Hons) through Auckland University, a BMin (Laidlaw College), and a BEd (Massey University).
Gillian is the chaplain at an Anglican Girls' school in Ōtepoti Dunedin where she teaches Religious Education, Mathematics, and Economics.
