Student Development is here to help you plan and achieve your goals at University and beyond.

Student Development is where you go to get course and support advice.

Our Student Advisers offer a friendly ear to listen and provide guidance on what matters to you. Through one-on-one collaborative discussions Student Advisers can provide:

  • Course advice and planning based on your academic goals and aspirations; and
  • Connection with our wider support services, e.g. Student Exchange, Scholarships, Student Health, Student Academic Skills (SAS), Careers Development Centre, Disability Support, Pacific Island Centre and Māori Centre.

By providing course advice and connecting you to services around the University, we will ensure you're well-equipped for success during and after your time at Otago.
