A Partnership Opportunity Lectureship in Catholic Theology
We are seeking partners to establish a $2.5 million endowment fund which will enable us to establish a permanent Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Catholic Theology.
Given the central importance of the Roman Catholic theological tradition and the Catholic Church within Aotearoa New Zealand, this Lectureship is both timely and strategic. It further enhances scholarship grounded in the Catholic tradition in Aotearoa New Zealand, lays essential groundwork for future growth and closer partnership between the University and the Catholic community, and addresses a key area of need within the Theology Programme. We aim to have this role established by second semester 2027.
