Our Endowment fund currently funds the Jack Somerville Lectureship as a half-time role and we are seeking support to expand it to a full-time position. This will require an additional $1 million.
This lectureship focuses on practical and pastoral theology, bringing theological insight into dialogue with other disciplines and lived experience, as we reflect on the work of Christians and the Church in the world.
For the current lecturer, Dr Lynne Taylor, the overarching goal of this work is human flourishing.
