This study will quantify the prevalence of immunity to A(H1N1)09 amongst primary healthcare workers in Canterbury.
We will also assess what factors relating to the participants' working patterns may have influenced the chance of seroconversion and the degree of protection conferred by the seasonal 'flu vaccine.
We will assess the number of workers who became immune without realising they had been infected.
We will also assess the proportion of participants who plan to accept the A(H1N1)09 vaccine when it becomes available.
