Join pathologists Associate Professor Diane Kenwright and Dr Amanda Charlton over two Tuesdays for this Ophthalmic Pathology course. The course is designed for registrars sitting the RANZCO ophthalmic pathology exam 5 March 2024.
Dates/times (NZDT):
- Prework released Saturday 13 January 2024 – preparation day 1:00pm–2:00pm
- Day 1 – Tuesday 13 February 2024, 1:00pm to 5:00pm
- Day 2 – Tuesday 20 February 2024, 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Venue: By Zoom and on Google classroom. All sessions will be recorded on Zoom for later playback.
Cost: NZ$500 (including GST )
Enrolments close Monday 12 February, but to learn the most, enrol by 13 January to have time to complete the prework.

Prework released online. Meet the tutors and your peers. Do a technical check. Tour of course content on Google classroom. Tour of Kuracloud online active learning modules.
Tuesday 13 February – Day 1
1:00pm–5:00pm (New Zealand Daylight Time)
Day 1. Content covered is uveal melanoma and retinoblastoma, common neoplastic conditions of the lacrimal gland and orbit. Homework issued to be completed before day 2.
Tuesday 20 February – Day 2
1:00pm–5:00pm (New Zealand Daylight Time)
Day 2. We will cover non-neoplastic globe, eyelid and conjunctiva. For each of these major topics we will work collaboratively to look at how to best answer written and slide questions.
