As part of your Doctor of Education study, you will work with a community of students and lecturers as you spend 12 months reflecting on your practice and preparing for the thesis stage of your doctorate. The paper involves studying from July through June.

- Paper Structure
- During the year you will focus on a number of topics, including those relating to being a reflective and researching practitioner, theoretical perspectives and conceptual frameworks, reviewing literature, and a number of research methods and methodologies.
- Teaching Arrangements
- This paper begins with a residential school. After this, it is taught online, with students not required to be online at set times. It is fully internally assessed.
- Students will be expected to access required readings via the library and the Internet and source their own relevant readings.
