- To work effectively within a research team, identifying team members' strengths and leadership qualities, applying collaborative strategies to enhance team performance, and effectively manage conflict to maintain a productive team dynamic.
- To explain the role of evidence-based practice in contemporary physiotherapy practice and analyse its importance in guiding clinical decision-making.
- To refine and justify a clear and focused research question, design a structured search strategy with defined eligibility criteria, and effectively use databases to identify relevant literature that addresses the research question.
- To identify, summarize, and synthesise relevant scientific literature to answer the research question.
- To identify appropriate critical appraisal tools for different types of scientific literature, apply these tools to assess methodological quality, and analyse the robustness of evidence to support informed conclusions.
- To analyse and evaluate research findings by critically discussing the strengths, limitations, application, implications, and recommendations for physiotherapy practice and research.
- To effectively communicate research findings using oral, written, and digital communication tools.
- To critically reflect on the self within the research process, demonstrating awareness of multiple perspectives and evaluating personal experiences, knowledge, biases, and assumptions to identify new ways of thinking.
