Molecular Microbiology is one of seven academic disciplines within the Department of Oral Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry. Molecular bioscience serves as the flagship of the Faculty's research effort.

- Intergeneric co-adherence of micro-organisms
- Proton-pumping ATPase targets for novel antifungal drugs
- The mechanisms of eukaryotic and prokaryotic attachment during pathogenisis
