Research
Sharon studied at University of Otago and University of Melbourne.
Sharon is an upper gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancer medical oncologist at Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre, and Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, Dunedin School of Medicine where her laboratory is based. She is a current HRC Clinical Practitioner Research Fellow.
Sharon has research interests in gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and neuroendocrine tumours, with a particular interest in understanding the variability that is seen at a clinical, histological, and genomic level.
