Research

Dave originally graduated from the University of Otago with a BA and PGDip focusing on Old English and Medieval Literature. After several years working in the film industry, he returned to university to complete a DipGrad in Computer Science.

Dave now works as a Data Manager in Preventive and Social Medicine with specific research interests in Injury Prevention and Pharmacoepidemiology.

He specialises in utilising routinely collected administrative health data, data linkage across multiple sources, web-based data collection, and information storage and management for large data-driven longitudinal projects.
