Research

Trudy is an Associate Professor in health economics in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, and a health economist at the Otago Medical School, offering health economics collaboration and advice.

Trudy's main research interests are in the areas of health economics and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). She has used a MCDA to develop a framework that can be used by decision-makers to prioritise publicly-funded health care, and is currently using MCDA to develop frameworks for other publicly-funded services.
