Admission to health professional programmes

Apply for Health Sciences professional programmes via the Socioeconomic Equity sub-category

To apply via the Socioeconomic Equity sub-category you will need to:

1. Provide an official letter from your secondary school(s) confirming its EQI number of 479 or greater (or decile 1–3 until 2023) and your enrolment in years 11, 12, and 13 within the last five years.

2. Using the form below, write a personal statement (500-word limit) explaining your understanding of the Socioeconomic Equity sub-category, how socioeconomic background impacts practice as a health professional, and your commitment to the health needs of lower socioeconomic communities.

Please note that the Alternative category is not an option under the Socioeconomic Equity sub-category.
