The Faculty of Medicine (FoM) Simulation Strategy was approved by the OMS Executive in September 2018. The Strategy is relevant to all Faculty of Medicine health professional programmes including the MB ChB programme. The vision is “Best-practice simulation-based education (SBE) integrated within health professional programmes at the OMS producing outstanding graduates who will contribute to optimal patient experiences and outcomes”. Included in the strategy are core values, focus areas, strategic objectives and several appendices which explain the evidence and rationale as well as recommendations for implementation.
