This intensive two-week revision course is intended to help candidates sitting the written component of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians examination. The course has been held annually since 1986 and is the longest running and most popular course of its kind in Australasia.

This well-established course is delivered by experienced specialists selected as being excellent teachers and communicators who are experts in their field. The course is updated yearly to deliver information on the latest guidelines and therapeutic developments. A large number of MCQ s and practice exams are available.

Course delivery is hybrid, so you can attend in person or online.

There are various options, depending on when you are sitting the exam.

For October 2026 exam revision (2025 online course materials only)

  • For those sitting the October 2026 Divisional Written Examination, we will make available the recordings and other online materials from 2025.
  • Access to the course materials will be granted after registration closes on 1 July 2026. You will have access until 31 October 2026. (Please note that it takes up to two weeks for your username to be created).
    • Registration: $999 NZD (GST inclusive)

For February 2027 exam revision (various options)

  • For those sitting the February 2027 Divisional Written Examination, we are offering a hybrid (in-person and online) course (9–20 November 2026).
  • This course involves two weeks of lectures which are livestreamed and recorded.
    • Digital copies of all course materials are available online on the course HS Moodle.
    • Hard copy workbooks will be provided to in-person attendees who select the option to have them printed.
    • All candidates will have access to the 2026 mock examination, as well as the 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022 mock examinations.
  • In-person attendance includes two social events - a drinks and nibbles evening on Tuesday, 10 November, and dinner and dancing at Larnach Castle on Saturday, 14 November.
  • The process of granting access to the course materials will begin after in-person registration closes at end of day on 11 October 2026 and will be granted approximately two weeks before the course starts.
  • You will have access to the course materials until the end of February 2027.
    • In-person registration:
      • $4,200 NZD (GST inclusive) – in-person with hard copy of course materials
      • $3,899 NZD (GST inclusive) – in-person with digital copy of course materials
    • Online registration:
      • $1,800 NZD (GST inclusive)

Programme

The course runs over two weeks:

  • Week 1: Monday, 9 November – Saturday, 14 November 2026
    • Tuesday, 10 November: Drinks and canapes event
    • Saturday, 14 November: Larnach Castle banquet dinner and dancing
  • Week 2: Monday, 16 November – Friday, 20 November 2026

Refund policy

Cancellations made up to three months before the course will receive a 100 per cent refund, minus an administration charge of NZ$50.

Cancellations made between three months and six weeks before the course will receive a 50 per cent refund, minus an administration charge of NZ$50.

Cancellations within six weeks of the course will receive no refund.
