Alongside of this is an attentiveness to the place of social models of disability, the role of health and disability services, families and whanau in supporting those with long term conditions.

She is involved with research that is looking at the impact of the Christchurch earthquakes on both staff and students in tertiary education institutions.

Henrietta’s PhD explored the experience and expectations of people who are ageing with an intellectual disability in the context of their family and whanau.
