Emma is a Senior Professional Practice Fellow with Women’s and Children’s Health specialising in paediatrics. Her teaching includes 5th year paediatric attachment, infant follow through longcase, and paediatric chronic longcase.

Clinical
Her clinical background is in paediatric nursing, in particular general paediatrics, school nursing and public health. Emma currently works clinically in a paediatric inpatient setting.

Research

Research interests include Nursing Informatics which involves developing and publishing guidelines for emerging practitioners with national colleagues, implementation and support of ePortfolios, and interprofessional health education. Recently Emma has done a lot of work using mixed-reality technologies in healthcare education.
