The aim of the Aspiring Leaders programme is to provide staff aiming for leadership roles to gain the skills, and knowledge to move into these roles with confidence.

The group of 20 successful applicants will develop individualised development plans supported by online workshops and a regular email programme of resources and reflective activities. They will be matched with a mentor as they explore what leadership at Otago means for them.

Who is eligible?

The Aspiring Leaders programme is open to all professional staff at the University of Otago who do not currently hold a formal leadership position but who wish to progress in their roles.

Numbers within the programme will be limited to 20 and the applicants need to commit to the programme as a whole.
