The online version of Te Aka Māori-English, English-Māori Dictionary and Index. Te Aka has encyclopaedic entries including the names of plants and animals (especially native and endemic species), stars, planets and heavenly bodies, important Māori people, key ancestors of traditional narratives, tribal groups and ancestral canoes. Māori names for institutions, country names, place names and other proper names are also provided.

A bilingual quarterly published by the Maori Affairs Department from 1952 to 1976. Articles range from agriculture through recipes to wood carving and other crafts, as well as biographically important obituaries. |Te Takarangi: Celebrating Māori publications|
Te Takarangi is an acknowledgement and celebration of Māori-led scholarship and writing across time and genres. The collection of 150 publications provides an overview of some of the most important Māori leaders, thinkers and authors of our time. Titles include non-fiction publications, some periodicals, as well as language textbooks, dictionaries, and edited collections. This annotated list is the product of a collaboration between Te Apārangi, The Royal Society, and Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga.
