Otago's Bachelor of Performing Arts is unique. This special, exciting collaboration between the Theatre, Music and Dance programmes gives students a rare opportunity to study a variety of performing art forms blended into one degree.
Students will develop their knowledge and skills in a variety of different performance forms; they will also learn about the history, theories and key practitioners in the worlds of theatre, dance and music.
As a Bachelor of Performing Arts student you will take part in practical classes and perform in our fully equipped theatre (Allen Hall Theatre) as well as in our Music and Dance studios and performance spaces. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to perform in, or direct, productions for our weekly Lunchtime Theatre programme.
