A new accounting-related Masters' degrees will be available at Otago University from 2015.
The Master of Accounting consists of taught (coursework) papers and a research project, and is suited to those students who have an accounting degree and want an advanced qualification to move towards a research or academic career pathway.
A wide range of options
Otago has introduced a range of taught (rather than pure research) Masters' degrees in recent years, ranging from Wildlife Management to Teaching and Learning. Some take as little as 12 months to complete, and some contain an element of research as well as coursework.
