Where is the Mailroom?	You can visit us in the basement of the Clocktower Building, South end, Room B36. See map here. Our mailing address is: 362 Leith Street, Dunedin 9016.

I need to send a letter / parcel, can I buy a stamp or courier bag?	We will use the University Permit Stamp or University courier bag and charge you through EFTPOS
Where can I post University Permit Post envelopes?	All University mail with the permit stamp MUST be sent through the Mailroom. Any mail posted through a Post Office or at a Mail Box will be returned by NZPost, delaying the delivery process.
Do you stock stamps?	No, however we are able to use the University Permit stamp – payment is made through EFTPOS
What customs requirements are there for sending my item overseas?	For non-documents and items weighing under 2kg a Green customs declaration sticker is completed here in the Mailroom. For items over 2kg or where documents are required to be sent by International Courier, a white Customs Declaration form is required. It is preferred that you use the online Parcel Lodgement Program. Please contact us to assist in setting this up.
What courier products does the Mailroom stock?	We provide courier bags and tickets for all national overnight, same day delivery, and economy two day delivery using the following suppliers: NZ Couriers CourierPost Peter Baker Transport Fastway (Amarax) PostHaste University Branded bags – for use with all courier companies including NZ Post
Is mail for the University Colleges and other campuses considered internal?	Yes, all colleges and campuses receive a one day delivery including the Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington campuses.
What is the cut off time for mail to go out at end of day?	Mail items need to be with the Mailroom by 2:15pm. Courier items need to be with the mailroom by 3:15pm.
