Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a three-year research-only degree. It involves an individually supervised research project leading to a written thesis. We seek candidates with excellent grades in their prior study, and we are only able to offer supervision on topics that match the research interests of our academic staff.
Master of Applied Science (MAppSc)
We offer the 12-month coursework-based Master of Applied Science (MAppSc) majoring in Computer Science and in Artificial Intelligence. The computer science major involves taking coursework and supervised independent study, while the artificial intelligence major has three options: coursework and supervised independent study, a commercialisation project, or a workplace-based project.
