I am pleased to extend a welcome on behalf of New Zealand's only tertiary professional Surveying programme. The overarching goal of the School of Surveying is to provide students with a high quality education that is led by forward looking, innovative research. The strengths of the School lie in the achievements of its staff and students and the national and international recognition of its degree programmes. Graduates of the School work throughout New Zealand and in many countries abroad, where an Otago Surveying qualification is regarded as a hallmark of quality.
My colleagues and I welcome you to take a closer look at the land and the sea around you as you explore Surveying at the University of Otago.
