Keen to drive positive change on campus?

Join our team as a volunteer

The student experience on campus doesn't have to be all about study. Grab at the opportunity to take on the challenge and create meaningful change as a volunteer for the Sustainability Office.

You get to be part of a hands-on team working towards the Sustainability Development Goals and the Sustainability Strategic Framework for the University. Supporting events and campaigns designed to challenge the norm and think outside the box, you will be working collaboratively with the team and wider community!

In all, this unique opportunity offers you the chance to invest your passion for sustainability into designing and creating positive changes on campus.

We have teamed up with the Untouched World Charitable Trust to offer University of Otago students the opportunity to take part in the Water Wise Leadership Experience in Central Otago.

This seven day field trip is designed to provide practical field experience for selected students in Otago. The trip also provides an opportunity to draw together water issues, education and sustainable business practices.

Dates for 2020 are yet to be confirmed.
