CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. It's a common treatment for sleep apnoea, which involves using a machine to help keep a patient's airways open.
The sleep services page has further information about starting CPAP treatment.
If you have already undertaken CPAP diagnostic testing and you're ready to trial a CPAP device, or if you're an existing CPAP user, please read on to learn more about our CPAP services.
CPAP trials
The WellSleep Centre offers trials of CPAP to patients who have previously undertaken diagnostic testing. A wide range of both machines and masks are available for trial and purchase.
Annual CPAP appointments
Annual CPAP appointments are provided for long-term CPAP users. An annual review involves:
- Download of machine data
- Pressure delivery check
- Filter replacement
- Discussion and advice regarding current treatment effectiveness, new product information, and trials
A 30-minute appointment can be made with one of our expert clinical physiologists. These appointments cost $60.
Payment can be made on-site by eftpos, credit card or cash.
