Sascha Feary
Sascha (he/him) is a doctor working for Te Whatu Ora, training to become a psychiatrist who works with children and young people. He joined the World of Difference Programme in 2026, hoping to understand better how to share his enthusiasm for being warm and curious about people and their mental wellbeing. He is doing a scholarly project with the programme on anti-stigma teaching in medical education.
Hannah Wilson
Hannah (she/her) is a medical student at the University of Otago – Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, Pōneke, with a strong interest in mental health research and practice. Over the summer of 2024–2025, she assisted the World of Difference programme with a project on co-producing notes in mental health services. Over the summer of 2025-2026, she assisted with a project on anti-stigma teaching in medical education.
To fund Hannah’s time with our programme, she successfully gained the World of Difference Research Student Stipend Award on both occasions, which is awarded to either a member of the lived experience community or an ally.
Outside of her studies, Hannah enjoys creative writing, long-distance running, and admiring the natural world.
