Your pathway to a Zoology major

Year 1: CELS191, BIOL112, STAT110 or STAT115 plus 4-5 other 100-level papers.

Year 2: ZOOL221, ZOOL222, ZOOL223 plus 4-5 other 100- or 200-level papers.

Year 3: Four papers chosen from the list of allowed Zoology 300-level papers (see here) plus a further 2-3 papers from that list or any other 100-, 200- or 300-level papers that will allow you to complete the requirements for the degree (see here for the requirements) and for which you have any prerequisites.

Want a Zoology major with a marine focus? The following Zoology papers have some marine content: CELS191, BIOL112, ZOOL221, ZOOL222, ZOOL314, ZOOL315, ZOOL319, GENE312. You can combine a Zoology major with a Marine Science minor.

Want a Zoology major with a focus on ecology? The following Zoology papers have ecology content: BIOL112, ZOOL221, ZOOL313, ZOOL315, ZOOL318, ZOOL319. You can combine a Zoology major with a major or a minor in Ecology.

Want a Zoology major with a focus on physiology? The following Zoology papers have physiology content: BIOL112, ZOOL221, ZOOL223, ZOOL313, ZOOL314. You can combine a Zoology major with a major or a minor in Physiology, Biochemistry or Neuroscience.

Want a Zoology major with a focus on evolution? The following Zoology papers have evolution content: BIOL112, ZOOL221, ZOOL222, ZOOL315, GENE312. You can combine a Zoology major with a major or a minor in Genetics.

You can combine a Zoology major with a minor or major in many other Science and non-Science subjects. Note a double major usually takes more than three years to complete and a double degree (a BSc with a BA, BCom etc) usually takes five years to complete.
