Your first year collegiate experience only comes around once – be sure to make the most of it! You will have access to heaps of fantastic events, all planned with you in mind. Take a chance, try something new, and encourage your mates to get around it!

Student Representative Committee
The Student Representative Committee is selected at the beginning of each year to assist in organising social events such as volunteer opportunities, the college ball, open mic nights and cultural performances. They work closely with the Senior Management team and help to amplify the student voice. Information about how to apply and what you can expect from your Student Representatives will be provided to you when you arrive.

Inter-College Competition
One of the most exciting aspects of collegiate life is the annual Inter-College Competition! With an extensive programme of sporting, cultural and gaming opportunities, you can have a go at a competitive or participatory level – whatever works for you! Events change yearly, and we proudly showcase our winning banners in the dining hall – help us add to the collection while having heaps of fun!

Cultural and gaming events include (but are not limited to): a quiz night, gaming competition, board games, laser tag, cultural performance evening, battle of the bands, a talent competition, debating, chess, the 48-hour film festival, pool, and the Big Sing.
We are keen competitors, proudly showcasing our banners in the dining hall – help us add to the collection while having heaps of fun.
Carry Clubs
Each year we offer a variety of in-house Carrington Clubs based on special interests like baking, reading, gaming, movies, art, sports, knitting, Queeringtons, and exercise. Clubs are a great way to meet people from different houses/floors, and we’re always open to new suggestions.
