The first Queenstown Course in Internal Medicine was held in 2002. It was extremely successful and very well received by the registrants. This annual course is designed to cater for the practising specialist in internal medicine.

The meeting is held at the spectacular Millbrook Resort, on the outskirts of Queenstown. The Resort hosts one of the finest golf courses in New Zealand, and ready access to abundant leisure activities including:

  • Bungy jumping
  • Cycling
  • Rafting
  • Skiing
  • Wine tours

Queenstown is serviced by an international airport, therefore access to the Millbrook Resort is effortless.

2024 programme for the Queenstown Course in Internal Medicine

Dates: Thursday, 8 August to Sunday, 11 August 2024
Thursday: from early evening to late
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00am–1:00pm
Venue: Millbrook Resort, Queenstown, New Zealand
Cost: $1,950 NZD (GST Inclusive)
The course is hosted by the University of Otago Department of Medicine, and is delivered by experts in their respective fields. The sessions are a mixture of lecture-based and case-based discussions, with an emphasis on practical medicine for the internal physicians.

Cancellations made between three months and six weeks before the course will receive a 50 per cent refund, minus an administration charge of NZ$50.

Cancellations within six weeks of the course will receive no refund.
