The first Queenstown course in Internal Medicine was held in 2002. This annual course is hosted by the University of Otago Department of Medicine (Dunedin) and is delivered by expert physicians. The sessions are a mixture of lecture-based and case-based discussions, with an emphasis on practical medicine for internal physicians.
The meeting is held at the spectacular Millbrook Resort, on the outskirts of Queenstown. The Resort hosts one of the finest golf courses in New Zealand, and ready access to abundant leisure activities including:
- Bungy jumping
- Cycling
- Rafting
- Skiing
- Wine tours
Queenstown is serviced by an international airport, therefore access to the Millbrook Resort is effortless.

Cancellations up to three months before the course commences are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50.00 administrative charge.
Cancellations from three months up to six weeks before the course commences are eligible for a full refund (minus a $50.00 administrative fee) but only if a replacement delegate can be found, otherwise the course fee is forfeited in full.
Cancellations for partner attendance to the course dinner will not be accepted less than two weeks before the course. The $50.00 administration fee applies.
