Epidemiology and child health

Research

John Dockerty an epidemiologist and public health physician. He has a special interest in the causes of cancer in children. He has worked in New Zealand and the UK, and has collaborated on a series of international studies. He is an active member of the Childhood Leukemia International Consortium. His methodological approaches have included studies of time trends and ethnic differences, clustering, case-control studies and cancer survival. He has also researched the psychological, social and economic effects of childhood cancer (quantitative and qualitative), and worked on systematic reviews and pooled analyses.
