Prescribing and use of medicines in primary care

Research

Caroline’s research activity has centred on ways of improving the safety of prescribing and reducing preventable drug-related morbidity in the primary care setting. This has included involvement in the development of a cluster randomised controlled trial of a pharmacist-led, information-technology-based intervention. She has also been involved in the development of a nationally-derived framework for quality activity.
