Head of Department’s welcome
Kia ora and welcome to the Department of Medical Laboratory Science.
We are part of the Faculty of Health Professional Programmes and our interdisciplinary nature enables us to work closely with several other departments within the school.
With our teaching into the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, we introduce students to the wide variety of scientific disciplines and skills required in today's medical laboratories.
At postgraduate level, we develop the skills obtained during the Bachelor and provide further training in research.
If you have a passion for science and a desire to advance medical knowledge, we encourage you to explore our department and join us for your studies.
