Medical laboratory scientists play a crucial role in healthcare by providing laboratory tests and interpreting results to enable accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
At undergraduate level, we offer the four-year Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLSc), an internationally-recognised qualification. For high-achieving students, the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science with Honours (BMLSc(Hons)) is also an option. The knowledge and skills obtained from these degrees are transferable across a wide range of careers. The BMLSc and BMLSc(Hons) are also excellent platforms for postgraduate application to other Health Professional programmes, such as Medicine or Dentistry.
