Use a capital 'B' when referring to the online learning environment.

  • The lecturer uploaded the course materials to Blackboard the night before class.
  • With the power out, the lecturer had to resort to writing notes on the blackboard.
  • Students appreciated being able to access lecture notes from home on blackboard.
