Hands-On at Otago is a week-long summer programme for Year 12 and 13 students (currently studying in New Zealand) to experience what studying at the University of Otago is really like.
You will stay on campus at one of our residential colleges and choose a subject to explore for the week. With more than 20 subjects on offer across Arts and Social Sciences (Humanities), Business, Health Sciences and Sciences, you can explore an area you’re interested in and get a feel for future study options.
You will learn from our world-class academic staff, meet students your age from schools across the country and participate in a huge range of activities that will challenge and inspire you for the year ahead.
We tend to receive more applications than we have places available, so we encourage you to put time and effort into your application and share with us why you would benefit from the experience.
Experience university life and so much more
