What you'll pay
The cost for Hands-On at Otago for 2027 is NZ$725.
The cost covers:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Programme activities
- Course materials
- Transport to and from Dunedin airport or bus terminals
Payment information
Payment is required by Friday, 16 October 2026.
Payment plans are available, allowing you to split the total cost across three payments. For more information, contact the Hands-On team:

Invoices can be issued on request. You will need to supply the following information:
- Student name(s)
- Total amount
- School/Group/Individual to be invoiced
You will need to cover the cost of getting to and from Dunedin.
Ways to fund your Hands-On experience
There are lots of scholarships available and you can try to get funding from your local service clubs (Lions, Rotary) or school Board of Trustees.
