We offer a choice of a three-year undergraduate or a one-year postgraduate programme in initial teacher education (ITE), both of which offer a choice of endorsements.
The Bachelor of Teaching
The Bachelor of Teaching (BTchg) is a three-year undergraduate degree with a choice of three endorsements. Graduates of our teaching programmes will be well prepared to work with children and young adults, and will gain a broad range of skills in communication, organisation, management, creativity and adaptability.

The Graduate Diploma of Teaching
This is an intensive programme for graduates holding a qualification of Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
The Graduate Diploma of Teaching (GradDipTchg) may be endorsed in either primary education or secondary education. It focuses on education and curriculum studies (taught online/via distance learning) and is inclusive of a substantial in-school professional experience (for which ITE students must be on-site).
The Master of Teaching and Learning
The Master of Teaching and Learning (MTchgLn) is a programme for people who have already graduated with a university degree. It is usually completed in one calendar year of full-time study, or its equivalent in part-time study.
