Accommodation types and fees
The majority of our flats are shared accommodation. These come with access to a kitchen, shower, bathroom and washroom that is shared between 3-6 people. All flats come fully furnished with furniture and white-ware as well as some additional health and safety resources.
Fee types
Other than the rental fees, all other fees listed below are a one of payment made prior to arrival. All money amounts on this page are in NZ dollars.
- Rental fees: cover all your weekly costs for power, WIFI and other utilities. Included is maintenance costs as well as pastoral care cover 24/7 for the flat.
- Placement Fee: covers the the administrative process and holding the room for your arrival.
- Activities fee: covers involvement in Uniflats events such as shared kai (meal events), social events (quizzes, parties, meet & greets) and trips. These allow you to experience a variety of different activities, some of which are unique to our beautiful country.
- Bedding Pack: covers bedding as part of health and safety to ensure all residents have adequate bedding when they arrive in Aotearoa New Zealand from anywhere in the world.
